Can You Say Landslide Peruna?

Postby Statler » Tue Oct 27, 2009 8:11 pm

Well, well, well....

The SMU student passed the Peruna resolution 32-3:

http://smustudentsenate.wordpress.com/2009/10/21/a-resolution-regarding-the-gift-of-mustangs-to-the-university-and-the-future-of-peruna-as-our-mascot/

This clause says it all:

II. That the student body supports Peruna as SMU’s only mascot.

[Yeah, the students really want the geldings :roll: ]

When you make the money he makes, he doesn't have to save face. All he has to say. "is look at my bank statement and then look at yours."

There were never any official plans announced for the horses, so they can simply say that this is what was intended all along.

But of course, certain people on this forum will tell you that there was never any intention to replace Peruna with those geldings and that the conspiracy was nothing more than an illusion. :roll:

Go to a bowl game and win consistently. If he wants to make changes, focus on the football portion first.
Those who complain about a problem are simply wasting time they could use to fix it.

Might mean more if they added:

VI. That the student body will attend all home football games inclusive of entering Ford Stadium prior to kickoff and remaining until our players leave the field

Nothings going to change (;

If they dump the horses completely I will bring back One Trick Pony and kick Mestengo to the curb. I do like Mestengo though, being a stray beast an all.

LOL....good point....it is kind of ironic that some seem to think and make like
it's a big deal that the "STUDENTS ARE UP IN ARMS ABOUT THE NEW HORSES! and the students expressing their passionate love for all things Peruna".....but hell isn't it those same sorry [deleted] students that won't attend football games with Peruna? Yeah....some love!
