Tiger Woods

Postby Diamond Girl » Fri Nov 27, 2009 2:45 pm

Fox News just reported Tiger was seriously injured in a single-vehicle accident. He allegedly was backing out of his driveway, hit a fire hydrant, hit a tree and got seriously injured. No other details, except possible charges are pending.

From the reports it almost sounds like he was injured before getting into the car and had the accident due to that. Very strange sounding at this point.

It is very strange. Alcohol not involved, air bags didn't deploy. He's been released from the hospital, though.

Curious as to whether the original story was totally blown out of proportion or if the spin machine is working overtime.

"spin machine" is earning their $$$$$, sooooooooooo much at stake here...but, hey..I often run my car into the fire hydrant and tree in my neighborhood at 2:30 a.m. in the morn...all the time...glad Tigre' is "ok", but..come on, people...they freakin' drug test Doug Barron, for crying out loud, and will let this slide.......

Well to be honest, so far they have only said "no alcohol". Never know what the final results will be but money does talk. Or perhaps it should be money does not talk. My guess is that it will be a bad combination of "prescription drugs" for pain.

Reading now that Elin had to smash out the back window of the SUV with a golf club to get him out. I wonder if she might have been smashing him out with the golf club. They say he was laying in the road dazed and Elin standing over him with the police arrived.

I do not mean to make light of a bad situation but the reporting on this will be very interesting to follow.

There is definitely much more to this story than we know right now. Nothing really makes sense at this point, and may never with the massive spin that will continue.

that's what I was thinking. I mean, you drive past a fire hydrant thousands of times. Seen the tree a thousand times. It's a whole new challenge after having been knocked silly with a golf club. Think about it...in and out of consciousness, busted lips and a mouthful of blood. 'Oh, it was the airbag,' you say? Nope, airbag didn't deploy. Steering wheel? He hit the hydrant and continued to the tree...if the impact was that great on the tree, and he didnt have a seatbelt, he'd have hit the windshield, and the injuries wouldve been to his head.

Of course I wasnt there, so I don't know. But why publish an explanation for the golf club when it's not necessary?
