Roll Call for Christmas Eve
Posted: Sat Dec 12, 2009 12:59 amI know that many of us aren't going to be able to make the trip to Hawai'i this year. We at 1st & 10 are going to be open on Christmas Eve, showing the SMU v. Nevada game on all our TV's. Because it is a holiday, we want as many of our staff as can to be able to spend it with their families - so we don't want to over-staff if we're not expecting a huge crowd (like the Marshall game).
That said, if we are expecting a big turnout, we want to be fully prepared to serve everyone. We've got staff who've volunteered to work that evening if need be.
So, Ponyfans - will you be watching the game in the back room at your in-laws, or surrounded by a crowd of rabid Mustang fans looking for a win in our 1st bowl in the 21st century?
***BTW, my mother was not too thrilled to find out that our Christmas Eve at their house would be over at 6:15 so we can get to the bar.
