Looks like the wheels are in motion to finally redevelop the sites, get your letters of interest in soon!
I can't post the image, so just click the link and scroll to find it, but remember it is just a
Preliminary Site Plan...

Link broken. This one should work.

preliminary site plan looks pretty much the same way that it has been explained to me over the past two and a half years. I've posted several times on PonyFans about it - to those who doubted me - I told you so.
The site plan will probably change now that they are going to have to move to something practical. Then again, they may stay with this idea.

I dare you to find an academic building on SMU's campus that does not have waterless urinals. They are EVERYWHERE.

And they all stink and are expensive to maintain. Pint urinals require no maintenance and still save you a ton on water.

Also, this master plan confirms that SMU owns the houses east of Ford/south of Dedman. Perfect location for a Practice Facility.
Another thing..... doesn't this seems like a big waste of space? I see that the height limit on the Dallas side is lower than on the UP side. I guess that is due to 75? Either way it is odd that they are going to include that must green space when SMU is out of land.

It's due to deed restrictions and zoning on that Bairds parcel. We discussed this in a real estate class.

Yeah, that's not a Dallas/PC thing its a zoning difference.

I posted a rundown of all SMU-related zoning long long ago... Nobody 'round here read it I imagine.

.......does that mean it can be re-zoned into giant skyscraper zone? I still want my 40 story housing tower with rotating neon pony on the top, ala red pegasus downtown.
