HB DAD, I had to laugh at the 15 yrs comment. I have discs of many of the Windows systems( dos, win95, win2k etc.) But more amusing was the fact that I was in the mainframe software business when MS started. I wondered why anybody would buy software for a PC but bought a few shares of MS anyway. :D :D Guess stupidity is always bad.

GO PONIES!!!
MUSTANG MANIA LIVES :)

When I was in high school I worked for a catering company and we had a job for a company's 2 or 3 year anniversary. About 15 people or so and owner of the company told me he was looking at selling shares. Told my parents no way a computer company could compete against IBM. Oh well, they could have made a fortune off of Dell.

Same with a homebuilder the owner told me to buy 17 years ago. Little did I know I would go into that line of work or that he would be a top 3 builder in the country

Yeah. A young up and coming business man offered my father a chance to join up with him years ago. He thought is was too risky to take a chance. I have often wondered what I would be doing today had he gone to work under the wing of Clint Murchison.

I think that was the last time there was any excitement about a MS OS release, too.

All this Mac bashing doesn't make sense to me - doesn't matter whether you have a PC or a Mac.

Make sure you have a backup hard drive and make a regular backup of your essential and important data. It's your own fault if you don't.

Didn't also come with Buddy Holly by Weezer?

(Yes, I am well aware that Edie Brickell is an SMU-er.)

...

And HB PD... there's an app for that!
