2022: Qatar and USA USA USA
I am hoping/praying we get it in 2022. Qatar has an unreal video for their future stadiums, but nonetheless gotta cheer for the home team.

Conspiracies are a plenty. --Qatar is smaller the Connecticut, 120 degrees in the summer, and 8 hours ahead of the USA. terrible
I for one look forward to seeing soccer matches take place in the middle of the desert with 100 degree weather.
At least Qatar is rich enough to build a stadium that pumps air conditioning through the grass

Maybe Qatar just won't be around by 2022. It's like inviting someone you know can't make it to a party. It's nice to invite them knowing there's absolutely no way they'll ever be able to go. You look good, they're happy, and they won't be there. Maybe they're just doing the same thing with them.
