Just read in the papers. Mr. Clements was always very generous when it came to giving to causes he believed in. He did a lot of good things for SMU, sadly the Death Penalty will be the one thing most people will remember.
PONY UP, Mr, Clements! My thoughts and prayers are with his family..

It pisses me off that SMU was asleep at the wheel while UT Southwestern got Clements to give them 100MM. Imagine what we could have done with that kind of money. Someone should have gotten canned for letting that happen...............

Let's see:
- Natatorium that was built in the last century or two
- Track worthy of our team (and hopefully one that would help bring back the men's team)
- Finishing out Westcott Field so it looks like a college soccer stadium
- Indoor practice facility
- Completion of Moody facelift

Wonder if it was anything to do with having a med school & we don't? Just curious?

By the way, $9M saves the UC baseball program from 'extinction'.
