The chain’s spokesman confirmed Tuesday that the store at 7940 N. Central Expressway (near Caruth Haven in an already-congested area near NorthPark Center) opens at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

That’s just in time for lunch, but you probably shouldn’t count on getting a burger before dinner unless you line up plenty early and are ready to wait for hours.

There will be one drive-thru lane and seating for 99 guests at the Central location.

The Frisco and Allen locations have been overwhelmed with customers since they opened six weeks ago. As recently as this weekend, and at most hours, the drive-through lanes at both are still stacked with 40 or 50 cars or more.

Anyone on here going to brave the crowds and go?

It would probably faster to drive to Allen wait in the 20 minute line there and drive back.

What's the fuss? In-and-Out burgers are OK, but hugely overrated.

Ch 4 had a live remote from the Dallas store this morning at 8:30 and they had more police officers(10) than cars that drove thru drive-in(2).

DMN says there were only 14 people in line. Guess the Park Cities is not impressed.

Anybody who gave a [deleted] would have already gone to one of the ones out in the Oklahoman suburbs.

Glad today is over so we don't have to hear about it anymore.

In 4-5 years, at least several of the original planned and built stores will quietly close...........Burgers are nothing special and the fries absolutely suck...............

Never underestimate the power of fat Americans wanting a hamburger, coupled with all of the Cali transplants around DFW. Shoot, the Fijis alone could probably keep the Caruth Haven location in business by themselves. The locations are certainly doing brisk business now...Frisco's was mobbed last night at 9:30, and obviously, the Dallas location was a complete sh*t show.

It's one of the most successful restaurant companies ever, they do not close stores due to bad performance, they just move to better locations.

Is it true they quote the bible on their containers? That seems a little over the top for fast food.

Agreed ... although there are some who call Dallas "the buckle of the Bible belt," for whatever that's worth. Regional marketing, perhaps?

It goes back 20 to 30 years. Has nothing to do with Dallas. The original owners were very religious people & have left an incredible legacy here in Calif. Salt of the earth, wonderful people.
