They were about to open one near my NC home. It sounded incredible. Nice for the SMU area.
Now some Dallas area brewer should make a "Pony" ale, one great kickin' American classic!

3 new breweries open in Dallas this year-Deep Ellum in that area, Petticolas over near Mama's Daughters off Irving Bled, and Lakewood. Do any have an SMU connection?
Will they brew PerunAle?

John Reardon who opened the deep ellum brewery is an old buddy of mine. So there's your smu connection.

I would say SMU people are too classy for that - but seeing how many people drink Bud Light and Miller Lite that obviously isn't the case.
