Re: University Endowment RankingsGiven the way Turner talks, I was expecting this to be substantially higher.

Re: University Endowment RankingsTCU nipping at our heels. Credit their recent football success
Re: University Endowment RankingsIn 10 years TCU will pass SMU in endowment, academic ranking, and national perception.
Back off Warchild seriously.
Re: University Endowment RankingsCompetition is good.
I'm sure being on top of a natural gas field like they are isn't too shabby either. BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!
For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.
Re: University Endowment RankingsTCU's endowment has been basically equal to ours for at least the past 5 years. No need for concern.
Re: University Endowment RankingsAnd besides our coeds are much better endowed.

Agree with 2 of the 3.
Re: University Endowment RankingsEndowment, a strong maybe. Academic ranking and perception, no way. We are light years ahead of them.
Re: University Endowment RankingsWhy is most everyone assuming the Frogs will surpass SMU in endowment?

Re: University Endowment RankingsTCU is bringing in so much more money into their university than SMU its crazy. They will pass us with ease.

Re: University Endowment RankingsWhat are they doing that we are not?

Re: University Endowment Rankings
TCU has gotten a fat $0 from it so far. Haven't drilled yet, fortunately/unfortunately (depending on how you look at it). Go Frogs! Pony Up!
Re: University Endowment Rankings
Possibly. With both being in the top 100, they're already neck and neck considering there are 2,600 accredited four-year institutions in this country. It would be difficult to "pass" SMU without a) a law school and/or b) a med school, two factors in which weigh significantly in the rankings. Go Frogs! Pony Up!
