Call a public announcement, some under aged kids where drinking alcohol. Do you think the school will go on lock down

Cue the statistics showing SMU had more IFC presidents supplying alcohol, more SMU arrests per capita for underage consumption and proclaim a national epidemic of providing alcohol to minors.

Please. I remember the IFC president at SMU speaking to all the freshman before rush started and explaining that rush was "dry." Later that night, I had a beer with the guy. Everyone drinks in college. Only some people are unlucky and get caught.

Next, you will post a link to a story indicating that college students are trying to get laid.

Hell the IFC president my last few years did some hardcore stuff...I saw it. Most fraternity guys aren't exactly angels...lets be honest.

We're lucky we haven't had a TCU type incident with all the coke and prescription drugs going around

Arrest them on campus, with your own police, you're a private university, you control what information gets out. SMU is notoriously tight-lipped when it comes to releasing information on incidents to the media, because they can be.

That is seriously the best way to approach the drug thing, it'll never go away so at least save the schools image. The media loves the TCU story, they get to be as subjective as they want. I know its different from Duke but its kinda close in terms of the whole white kids and private school setting

Did these kids think that maybe this would have been the one week to be on their best behavior? Have they not seen the headlines over in cowtown this week?
