I was recently on campus and I saw the Chase Bank building is still empty after what? A decade?

Is there any hope that the school can get ahold of this building and property and put it to use?

The Chase Bank closed in 2009 or 2010 when SMU bought the property.

Isn't that one the tall building? If so, I believe the City of University Park has a public library in there.

No. Smu won't get that. The developer has locked up most of the multifamily too an is going to level it when he gets finished fighting w the neighborhood group

Yup. That building's current use is to serve as a placeholder for a future parking lot.
