Giving Campaign

I was browsing some other universities who started their giving campaign around the same time ours started, and they have easily surpassed 1B (Syracuse, Cincinatti). Will the reduced student population eventually put SMU at a disadvantage in sports, academics, and everything else? I know there are quite a few billionaire donors who are contributing, but I see us eventually slipping further and further behind. If we look at the athletics, we may always be looking from the outside in.

Syracuse as a school has dropped in rankings and quality. they need to be taking notes from us, not the other way around.
There are very few that have raised what we have done in 4 yrs. we are at 700M.
