Two SMU alums running to replace Dan Branch

Not to get too political on here, but two SMU alums are running to replace Dan Branch's house seat as he runs for AG. Morgan Meyer graduated from SMU undergrad and is an attorney with Bracewell & Giuliani. Chart Westcott graduated from SMU law. Politics aside (and I'm sure that as Park Cities Republicans, they agree on pretty much everything), it would be nice to have more SMU people in elected office in Texas.
Also, I believe Dan Branch went to SMU law as well.

Court Alley, a UT guy, is a third candidate. Court, Morgan, and Chart are soap opera names.

If we had and SMU alum in power in the mid 90s in Austin, think about how the athletic landscape might have been different...
I like the guy who was smart enough to get two degrees from SMU...
