59% of students prefer SMU to TCU as a school.

Nice to know.

Meh. It's a "nice" number, but whatever. Seems that knife is cutting both ways anyway.

Does this surprise anyone? Outside of affluent areas going to SMU has a mixed connotation. Good school full of rich jerks. Mix in the sports aspect and there you go. But we need not appeal to the proletariat.

If you chose Texas A&M over SMU, SMU is the real winner.

A$M and Texas are the cheaper alternatives. $ does make a difference.

Somehow my phone has not realized that when I type SMU i really mean it. It often autocorrects to msu. I am not sure why, I have typed SMU probably 10,000 times and msu never. Ok, twice now in this post so I am sure it feels justified.

This is a stupid metric. The cheapest school wins almost every time.
