Posted: Tue Jan 06, 2015 4:37 pmstop with the earthquakes in Dallas. My building just shook for three seconds. I've lived in LA (screen name, duh?), THAT was a real earthquake. This is starting to freak me out.

Posted: Tue Jan 06, 2015 5:18 pmFelt it between Love Field and I-35. Floor, window and ceiling shook. I'm still a little jittery, but one co-worker threw up and started crying (apparently went through one too many back in California). No damage done, other than to everyone's nerves.

I know in SoCal the buildings are now built with steel so they can bend. I'm sure most here are concrete and would have no chance in a sizable quake. We joke but a 5.0 or higher quake around here could be disastrous.
It's the no warning that freaks me out. I have no idea if bigger ones are possible here but the the thought scares me.
