Looks like we own a tiny patch of land across the street from the tennis center (next to all the residential houses on the south side of Mockingbird). They are finishing up putting a tiny park there. Weird.

I hope we put a fountain in the park too.

There used to be a gas station there. Maybe the tanks are still underground and they could not do anything with that piece of land? Just guessing.

He is talking about the west side of airline. It was a house previously. I do not recall a gas station there so I am guessing you are thinking of the east side of airline.

I have not driven by in a couple of weeks but it looked to me like they were landscaping that lot so that lot to fit in with the new steps coming down from next to Ford on the northwest corner. This way if a lot of people are crossing mockingbird going south and then airline going east to the tennis center they do not all get jammed up on a normal residential sidewalk on the southwest corner waiting to cross airline.

I see, I was thinking the east side where there is that small park area. Nevermind.

My buddy's family lived in the duplex that was there. Interested to see if they are just building a pocket park or what

little pocket park. of course, we plant huge trees everywhere instead of saving some money and letting them grow.....

I guarantee those tanks are gone.

That is good.

Maybe they can erect a statue to honor urban music singers from Dallas on the land across from the tennis center. Thereby, SMU could have its own soul patch.

I believe there is a sole patch at Deno's in HP Village.
