I realize TCU is a private university, and not subject to the first amendment; but you better watch what you say if you plan to enroll.

How stupid. If anyone would reject all the PC nonsense I would figure it would be those rednecks in Fort Worth. Guess not...

Once again, this meely mouse girl trolls Twitter and I'm sure the rest of the Internet looking to be offended or finding something she thinks will be offensive to someone. Maybe she needs to take a class on how to lighten up and worry about herself and not everyone else

I'm so soooooooo tired of all the PC nonsense. Dude might be an idiot, but people that care about this crap and get so worked about up about being offended are even more insufferable and bigger losers than the people who's lives they try to destroy, because for them. tolerance is only tolerance if it falls within their narrow minded ideology.
Holy hell, what the hell has the world come too. ...

student life offices only exist to overreact to B.S. - especially if it involves social media. TCU should have shown some spine. This guy sounds like a jerk - but it is his right to be a jerk and express it publically. They have the right to enforce their code - but if it is code vs free speech then TCU might lose.
They actually hurt themselves by overreacting - a "don't do it again" hand slap would have been the correct response.

yeah I'd have less of a problem if this was found on a prospective students social media account but universities shouldn't be in the business of squelching free speech. SMU had a football recruit who originally hailed from New Orleans that had some ugly ugly things to say-actually sing- about President Bush-I was always a little surprised that got past the Secret Service. Some of these crazy kids and their twitter and The Facebook are so stupid about what they put on social media before getting admitted. But I guess its a Jobs Killer for grownups too

Have to love random, arbitrary internet wrath. "I have seen something I don't like halfway across the country, it affects me in no way, is not illegal in any way, but now I must order like-minded lemmings to do everything they can to destroy this person's life! And I will blog about it!"

Now he can say TCU s uxs all he wants, and can't be punished for it. At least he knows what we've known all along.
