Genius to have the most happening spot in Dallas announce "last call" at 11:45pm to visitors from NYC, Chicago, Austin, Normon and Europe. World-class idea.

Like the people that bought high rise apartments in Austin complaining about loud music.

The appropriately named The Uptown Neighborhood Association (known as TUNA)
Gawd I wish people like that would just stay in Waco and College Station
If you don't like it-move to the [deleted]' suburbs

Well, I don't think Uptown really became what it is now until maybe 5-10 years a go. Who knows how many people lived there before. I remember Christie's when I was in school (01-05) and it was a dive bar and had pool tables. I liked it better then.
I live in State-Thomas and hope this doesn't pass. I can't imagine that it will, but I guess you never know.

SUPs have worked on lowest Greenville. It's a good tool for the neighborhood. Keeps owners responsible for maintaining a certain standard.

http://cityhallblog.dallasnews.com/2015 ... unge.html/Lower Greenville neighbors killed the 2 am permit today that would have reopened Ships. Some of the quotes in the story are unbelievable.

Friends of mine have a ton of dough (pun intended) sunk into a pizza place on Henderson that'll probably never open because of zoning or ordinance gamesmanship

If I owned a house near love field, I would be more concerned about the sketchy bars on NW Hwy than the airplanes.
