Don't know if anyone else noticed but a baseball player at UCinci has started a petition to rename the baseball field. The major donor to it was Marge Schott who, if you have ever followed Cinci Reds, is incredibly racist. Reading about this today I was wondering if this is an issue in regards to all of the named buildings at SMU. Anyone know anything about the history of our buildings.

Drop all the names. Just give all the facilities (and fountains) numbers.

Yes - i have heavily researched this and all of our buildings were named after super PC and woke individuals. Nothing to see here. Move along....

People always talk about changing Clements Hall back to Atkins.
I think it's a good reminder of the mistakes of our past.

Just name them after the school: SMU Football Stadium, SMU Coliseum, SMU Natatorium, SMU Tennis Center, etc.
Of course, that seriously derails future donations.
