I talked to Orsini afterwards to compliment him on the job on the Big East and the work he did last week with his personnel.
I also told him June's slides were off point--Adrian Klemm wasn't a coach for the juniors and seniors listed on the depth chart. In fact, if we take anything from the chart, Bennett had more than June--do we really want him back?
There were some tough questions. Some spin offered by JJ. And yes, he pulled out a overhead projector at the end w/players and who recruited them. As he was going through it, everyone at my table looked at each other and realized he was trying to prove they can live without Klemm. I was more floored by the fact he came prepared w/the transparencies.
If what Nick said is true about Coach Jones pulling out depth chart then he did Coach Klemm dirty. Klemm's recruits are freshman, redshirt freshmen, and sophomores now.

that in and of itself told me without question where the idea of presenting those depth charts came from. The only guy who would still use an overhead projector.
listen, Klemm is good at connecting with these guys b/c of who he is: SoCal, NFL Rings, 34yo who probably plays ps3 with them, and can talk their talk.
but he's an OL coach. these guys aren't coming here b/c they're going to be working with him daily (except the O-Linemen). they're coming here b/c SMU, June, Big East.
Klemm's the foot in the door, but everything else is what gets them to step through. there are plenty of feet out there.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
