Actually did eat ceviche for lunch. Walked down the beach and had very fresh food.
OK- to make dutch happy and stay on point I will call it a 'ceviche burger' :lol: :lol: :roll:

Tried smash Burger on McKinney. Mediocre and pricey. If I'm going to spend $10 on a Burger/fries ill go to state and Allen and get something better than counter top fare.

you are in ceviche home base. I would go there again just to eat ceviche for every meal. Not even close to the 'best' in the states.

IMO to make good ceviche you must have very fresh fish and it will also depend on the type of fish used. Most good seafood restaurants here close by 5:00 as they don't feel the fish is sufficiently fresh to serve after that time.

For those of you coming to Birmingham ... hit Cantina Fuego's in Five Points. The Burger was unbelievable. Thick, not greasy, incredible flavor. Can not recommend the place highly enough.
