Victim Of Our Own Success

tried to sneak out for beer with :30 seconds before halftime-that used to work just a few weeks ago-but apparently not anymore-still barely made it back for 2nd half. Thank God for the TV Timeout at 16:00

Beer sales are nice, but lines suck, I support SMU with as many beers as I can buy, but still a flask in the back pocket will always work at Moody. You cannot miss any action while waiting in line.
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

I get a big old coke. That last about the whole game. Don't miss the action and stay hydrated.

My buddy texted me and said that the beer line was 7k deep at half.

The beer lines have been a disaster all season. If they start selling at the concession stands next year too that should alleviate the problem. By my math they have 4 people working each stand in the corners, just having two at each mid court concession stands could really free things up.

I don't think they will change anything about beer sales for next year. Remember they are hyper concerned about underage drinking not only from a PR & PC stand point but from a liability stand point. The system is designed to reduce the risk of underage drinking and also the risk of binge drinking. Longer lines helps temper the total amount consumed that they can not guarantee is being consumed by a 21+ patron which they want.

One thing that could make it more bearable would be to have some TV monitors in the concourse so you could see the game if you go for concessions.
