No way. Bummer. I know the feeling. Mine cut off before the miraculous cross field throw by GG in the Rutgers game last year.

Man, I feel your pain. I got home and told my wife she HAD to watch the end of the game. She then told me that it didn't record. Talk about a letdown. I wanted to see the gamewinner again.
Recorded the 12:30am replay, so I'll just have to watch again tonight. Still pretty pumped about that one. One of the greatest games I've ever seen in person.

Feel your pain - I learned this lesson the hard way too a few years back. Now i set every sporting event to record 30 minutes over the allotted time on the schedule to prevent it from happening again.
What is bad when we had the second game, the first game (FSU and LT) ran over and it didn't record the first several minutes of our game. I re-recorded it at 12:30,
OK I love what SMU video department has put out this year but I think this is a swing and a miss. Maybe they could put a soundtrack to Bobby Thompson's 9th inning homer when the Giants Won the Pennant!!!-the Giants won the Pennant!!!. This moment was big enough without the soundtrack.
Example Texas Tech's Jack Dale's call of Bobby Leach's runback in the Miracle on 4th Street-his INCREDULOUS call with live soundtrack:
"Blaine Smith--picks it up- fumbles it -can't find a handle-picks it up again at the 10-now its thrown out to the left sideline where its caught by an SMU Mustang-he's at the 20-25-30----He could go all the way?!?!----that's Bobby Leach with the ball [DAMN IT!!!]"
was CLASSIC. No soundtrack needed. Sound quality was poor too-nothing like heard in person last nite.
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris
When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.

I do not disagree with you but I just have to smile thinking that it is so nice to have stuff like this to complain about after a game rather than all the reasons we lost. Great to be winning again.

I agree with you Stallion, the back ground music is not needed. I have heard the Jack Dale call a few years ago. I wish I could remember who had the recording.
