I'm coming over mrydel. I'm sure anyone in Sherwood would know where you live and
could direct me there. Thanks for the invite.

I mean like an official watching party location better than D&B's. Wonder if Cuban would let us set up a byob at the outside area of AAC. Or set up a big screen at Clyde Warren Park and invite food trucks

Were you at D&B last time? It's a legit bar with a great tv setup. If my bar was still open I'd invite everyone, but alas I'll be at MSG for the game. Klyde park is for Preston Hollow wannabe urbanites.

You say that like it is not a good match for a significant portion of our fanbase.

You bet. Just take a left at the Shell station and a right at the oak tree. 2nd house on the left.

if it gets too crowded at mrydel's, Gusano's downtown is a good place to watch a game if they put it on the giant screen. Pizza & booze. Oh, and LR has a Twin Peaks now too

Authenticity is paramount in a bar. D&B's and Twin Peaks? Why don't we just do the Holiday Inn lounge in downtown Mesquite?

i dont disagree w/ you ponyboy on qualities of a bar. What're some examples of what you would prefer?

It sounds like you should organize a watch party to make sure it is in a place that suits your taste.

I'm sure they'd wheel in a tv for us. Looks good. See you there.

while i'm definitely not a fan of Holiday Inns...havent stayed at one since probably the early 80s...the one that was torn down on Meadow Rd had a pretty good sports bar with an impressive TV array for the timeframe (mid-late 90s)

you seem quite picky. Whats your ideal spot rather than knocking down everything else?

Man, I'm sorry. Not trying to be like that. But we can do so much better than a generic chain bar. I presented a lot of ideas above. Another might be Katy Trail Ice House.
