Martin not starter?

I am not talking about a one back set, I am talking about two-backs, FB and I-Back (Martin) with a TE-the shotgun formation and runs will be tough against a very physical A&M defensive line

Come on, one good game for a freshman RB and now you want to scrap the whole offense. What are you nuts. If Bennett did that you would call him an indecisive, wobbling idiot. :roll:

Not to mention all the talk about letting Burns run the offense.

Against A&M, I honestly like the idea of the shotgun based runs we have been running. I think the element of deception it gives us will make those "academics" on the A&M team a step slower as they try to figure out who has the ball. Hopefully that step is all we need to get a couple of yards.
I formation has that element of ramming the ball down their throats which I would love to see...but don't think we can do.

Ponygrad,

I would actually say he is adjusting and coaching to his talents if he molded the offense around Martin. Am I very excited about Martin after 1 game, YES- it is the only thing we have had to get excited about in a long time. Know matter what happens this week this kid is our future, so we need to plan around HIM. :roll:

At the press conference Bennett had no idea what Rusty Burns is going to call for the opening play
