FYI.....Hill Top Trivia....did you know that there was (is ?) a carillon in the tower at Fondren Science Building. Back in 1973 & 1974 a Perkins/Meadows student used to play it hourly in the afternoon hours. He sounded pretty good and from what I understand, he didn't look like Quasimodo.

Cox,
Thanks for asking. She's doing great and had a blast on the trip. She was partial to Paris while I to London. Rome we both loved so I guess that was our collective favorite destination.

Ponyboy, can you tell us specifically which street. Didn't realize SMU's expansion plans included land west of campus.
SMT, this was posted on another thread and ponyboy has yet to respond. Since you are the resident construction guru, can you tell me if this is true and if so, where exactly we are expanding westward?
Thanks

Sorry, I thought I did respond. I meant east of campus, not west. The homes were in general area of the square made by Airline to the west, Dublin to the east, Fondren to the north and McFarlin to the south.

Re: Next Massive Wave of SMU Construction
Can someone please explain to me why the IPF should be built where the soccer stadium and track are currently located? I like the track and soccer location. I think putting an IPF will hurt the flow of the sports quad.
Why can't we build the IPF in the field at Pettus? Do we really need a IPF that mimics a full football stadium?
