The Aggies Can't Figure Out PonyFans

I'm still puzzled why aggy does the following

A. They can't sing the first verse of a school song.. but can only sing the second?

B. Sing about the University of Texas whether they're playing them or not. ([deleted] envy?)

C. Refer to the University of Texas as t.u. .. when we all know that's Tulsa University.

D. Build monstrously large fires at an engineering school.. only to have them fall and people get hurt.. and they still want to do this?

E. Get a free pass out of class whenever a dog (which has to go to class whether it wants to or not) barks?

F. Have college students dressed as boy scouts and smokey the bear running around the school and playing army and band instruments?

E. Allow a football team to run, cuss, spit and who knows what else.. all over a "Memorial" Field.. yet cheerleaders and/or students are not allowed to get on it?

G. Have Milkmen instead of cheerleaders run around like a bunch of f-ags constantly using sign language and baseball signs to explain the game to a def crowd? They must be def because they talk awfully loud..

I am not puzzled by the following:

1. SMU is irrelevant in the academic world

2. SMU is irrelevant in the athletic world

I guess the meaning of irrelevant is beyond you people. I agree Perry is a dumb-ass, but to call the govenor of Texas irrelevant is well, what I would expect from an smu graduate (someone born with a silver spoon in their mouth and by age 15 drives a bmw bought by mommy and daddy). Once again, please buy a dictionary.

First of all, I'm hoping for a good game with lots of excitement and no injuries for either team. Ok, now to some of the most rediculous posts ever made on a football board.

1) You guys know way to much about Texas A&M...our traditions, our yell leaders, our team, etc not to be envious of what we have. Why is it that kids leave in droves from DFW to go to A&M and UT. More expensive, less notority, less job opps = less return on investment. Outside of DFW, no one recruits SMU grads. In my years of investment banking in NYC, I met exactly 0 SMU graduates. How many job offers have I received because of Aggie alum...a whole lot more than if I was a Pony grad.

2)Why is it you guys can't recruit talent if it killed you. I can't even name one player on your squad. Whens the last time your team made any type of national impact in the sports world? SMU is the step child of the old SWC and wasn't invited to the Big XII. Aggies get upset WHEN we lose to ranked schools...the only reason we make a game plan for this game is because TCU had four turnovers.

3)Don't talk about Bonfire...you weren't there. It makes as much sense to talk about Katrina victims as it does about Bonfire.

4)I'm watching the game with some SMU friends in Cali...and I'm pretty sure 99% of SMU fans are just hoping we don't cover the 28 point spread. That's it. Not a win....

Just some friendly fuel for you guys to come back on....if you come down to College Station, get there and back safely. And yes, the tailgating is as bad as everyone hears. Be careful with the TABC.
