20 PPG. Very nice. I think I would prefer to add this kid to Cornish.
Back off Warchild seriously.

FWIW, the latest chatter on Twitter says he's no longer visiting SMU, and we're out of the running:

Ben Frederickson @Ben_Fred 10h

Change of plans for SFCC G Kevin Punter. No longer visiting SMU. Visiting Tennessee this wknd instead. Says he is picking b/w #Mizzou, #Vols

those are some good ones, but two things.

1) You need to add buffalo to that list.
2) Do you like your horseradish with or without a little sour cream?

BP, OBF, mrydel - You can step down from you pedestals, take a deep breathe, and laugh :) Not that big of a deal. If you don't understand my comments about people with no credentials making bold statements claiming to have sources close to the situation that is ok, no problem, just an observation. No need to go as far as thinking that I do not understand the value of a confidential source. BP's continued 3rd grade attitude and stellar posting reputation lend no credibility to bold statements from unnamed sources. Doesn't look like that is going to change. Regardless, thank you for the entertainment.

GrantCarter - you said "Many people who did not claim to have confidential sources were correct about turner. It was not hard to predict." Exactly, well said. A 50/50 shot of being right. Not exactly impressive with or without a "source close to the situation".

sadderbudweiser and Junior - I am a big fan of your sources...barbaque, horseradish (with or without sour cream), buffalo wings. You are making me hungry. I think I just might indulge tonight.

PonyNation - Hope we get Cornish, if not we should just save the spot for our 2015 Class. Possible 2015 SMU Slogan "May I have this dance?" Pony Up!

Was I wrong? I've got more skins on the wall than you brosef. I'm right much more often than not, because when I say stuff, I like having credibility. When I'm wrong, I'll gladly admit it. I prefer that instead being known as the dude that asks a billion dumb questions, starts 20 threads with irrelevant polls, comes up with slogans that we've already used, and somehow has the ability to write the longest posts ever without actually saying anything.

Nothing to see here folks, move along.

Keep up the good work BP. Express your opinions, site your sources, do whatever. You are the man! At least you are entertaining. I can always use a good laugh :) Wake up and look in the mirror and tell yourself that "Man, you look again". Whatever makes you feel better. You are entitled to your own opinion.

Just know that I for one will not put stock into your ever so insightful posts. Who knows maybe in time you will win me over? I am rooting for you. It is going to take a much greater effort. I wouldn't hold your breath. In the meantime I will just move on with my life and control my anticipation for your next post :)

Getting back on topic -- there are still a handful of players (maybe 5 or 6, tops) with decent stats that are graduating from decent programs, have a year of eligibility left, and could at least fill the role of practice player/insurance in case of a string of injuries , while not tying up a scholarship for 2015.

StandUp, you ask the same questions over and over. As for Turner going to Texas, there was a thread on February 14 in which I specifically said it was a 3-team race at the time with OKSt, OSU, and Texas and Texas being the favorite if Barnes job is secure. And I'm pretty sure there was a thread way before that even back in like November or December because I remember being pretty adamant about UT being a childhood favorite.

Love seeing Thomas and House on this list, especially Thomas. I hope it sticks and they STAY transferred.

That's SMU focusing on Cornish and making him priority 1, not Punter cutting us.

StandUp- I stopped putting stock into your "ever so insightful" posts when you suggested Markus play the 3, and it's going to take a lot to win me back over.
