I am sure we will make a run at the NCAA tournament and probably get in this year but we will not be as good as we would have been had we had EMan added to the team imo. No one is waving the white flag but to say that we don't need a backup point guard is either naive or selfish imo.

I'm really concerned this will require Nic to play too many minutes. Nic goes so hard all the time and if we're playing a team who presses the ball, it will be ugly when Nic is not on the floor. Last season we could slide Nick over to the point when Nic was out but now who? I hope JMart is able to fill that roll, but I'm not familiar enough with his game to know.

Yeah, its' going to be an adventure at the point this year, even worse than last year. Russell was at least serviceable when Nic came out, now what..?

You can't make the final four if only one of your guards can confidently dribble the basketball.

Manuel needs to do nothing but dribble the ball from now until November. Seriously, to and from class, while working out, take the ball in the shower with him, palm the ball in his sleep constantly. He should be able to drive a stick shift car all while dribbling the ball by the time the season comes. If he can't, yeah, without nic, it wont be very pretty against anyone decent.
