Billy Joe,

I have a better idea. Give Turner a list of Copeland replacements, the rest should take care of itself.

That this thread has been started after one five-point loss is embarrassing. Don't quote the record over the last few years -- we all know it. Check the history books -- including our own -- and there is documented evidence that teams sometimes improve after the first game. Many fans enjoy that improvement.

And for what it's worth, the extenuating circumstances that surround Tulane make our game with the Green Wave completely off-limits as a barometer. With the emotions surrounding that team -- especially if it's their first game of the year -- that game could be a 40-pointer either way because of emotion alone.

high profile coaches want a chance to win a national title. At SMU, or ConfUSA for that matter, there is no chance....however, we can get someone who wants to prove something... (hello neuheisal), and someone like that can turn a program around.
