Tulsa beats Memphis and in a big one for conference prestige UTEP 21 New Mexico 10 going into 4th Q.

Well, we should be mad, too. And since they barely beat William & Mary -- no matter how we played today -- that's a game we can win. I sure wouldn't predict it, but it's winnable.

UTEP wins big one at New Mexico 21-13. CUSA West starting to look more competitive with UTEP, Tulane and Tulsa making strong showings today.

If we even want to think about competiting we half to beat freakin Marshall.

this SMU team would probably lose to Bill & Mary, one of the better I-AA teams, and wouldn't be able to take K State to the wire like Marshall did. I will be shocked if we can find a way to win in Huntington. That will be a hostile environment with a nearly packed stadium cheering for their Thundering Herd, despite their loss to UCF. Marshall may have the most avid football fans in this conference

I'm headed out to WVa. next Friday to see if we can beat the Herd. As an alum of both SMU and W&M, I'd say it would be an interesting game if they played this year. W&M got stomped by Rhode Island this year, so its a rebuilding year for them.
