Not sure why Vandy every went with the 3rd QB. Rivers isn't doing that bad.

Great start for the American. With Tulsa beating what was supposed to be a better Tulane team it seems like the league will have more parity and less bottom dwellers...now all we need to do is show up and play well against Baylor.

Temple showed me mucho talent last year at SMU. They were a very young team and you could see a very athletic QB. I coached one of their sophomore offensive linemen and got some nice feed back on the team from him after the game. Yes, temple has made a concerted effort to become competitive as they are recruiting well in both NJ and PA. Do not take this team lightly in the next several years.

Franklin had them running the spread and a 4-3 defense. Mason changes the offense to a more Stanford like conventional offense and a 3-4 defense. It will take time for him to recruit players to fit his system at Vandy

Temple whipped them like a drum. Vandy will get rocked in the SEC this season. They should have offered Franklin $10M/year

temple has been recruiting pretty well for awhile - and the school is committed to sports and can hide their players academically better than just about anyone. They will not be lower half this year and I would suspect they will beat us this year.

Temple doesn't play us this year according to the SMU site schedule.

Temple would not beat us. The preseason conference poll is pretty spot on...we are 5th with a good chance of being 3rd or 4th
