Good luck this weekend. Now that this game will be shown nationally on CSTV, it's ya'lls chance to show what C-USA West is all about.
You guys need to bring some credibility to that win against TCWho by finishing out strong this season (except against the coogs of course).
Whip the herd!
Go Coogs!

It'd be nice, but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. I suspect we will get killed yet again. Would be happy to be proven wrong like the TCU game. Which was a FLUKE.

Thanks for the words of support, JDCougar. You'll have to excuse us; many on this board are in the depression phase of our collective bipolar illness.
If there is anything good to bring up, I am glad to be playing in CUSA-West rather than somewhere West of the Rockies; eventually this conference will be good to us.
Go Mustangs !

Was thinking the exact same thing.
The only postive out of this game is if we beat them we can say...Woo! We beat Marshall..who also ended UCF's 19 game losing streak!

Thanks for the encouragement, JDCoug. We jumped the tracks against Baylor and bounced back huge against the damn froggies. What I wouldn't give for a similar performance Saturday.
Rise up, Mustang Nation!
Go SMU!

If the herd loses two weeks in a row to the likes of smu and ucf then college football is a joke

This year's team is not the kind to win on the road against even the likes of Little Flower Academy. I don't know when we will win again this year. Yep, it's time for my Zoloft.

To the team:
Like last year, when everybody wrote you off, you played for yourself and pulled off a couple of victories. Now, it's time to start winning 'road' games.
Go do it for yourself!

Let us sit back and ponder that for a moment. We are 12 point underdogs to a team which just lost to the team with the longest losing streak in the NCAA and whose only win came in a squeeker against a Division 1-AA team. We are the Rodney Dangerfield of College Football-and deserve it.

If I was a betting man, I certainly would not take the points in this game. I'm not a betting man anymore, though, after the Baylor debacle.

Marshall is not what they used to be. Though they are favorites, we can hang with them if we play like we did against TCU.

Marshall is another team suffering from recruiting and scholarship reductions due to NCAA probation-count 2-4 years after such a probation and the on field product ALWAYS WITHOUT FAIL SUFFERS-see OU under Gibbs, SMU under Collins, Miami after their probations before Davis rebuilt etc.

Was that a result of Jim Donnan's actions? I've always wondered why he didn't land another job after UGA.

Just wanted to echo our visiting UH fan .... BEAT MARSHALL!
Hey, we were bigger underdogs against the froggies. It can be done.
