since Bennett says that Lowery will start and that Henderson will be given some playing time let's go ahead and unleash our Mustangs-Martin, Henderson, Massey, Turner, Givens, Lowery could quickly change the look of this team. I'd love the way Martin runs the Reggie Bush Special out of the backfield-that play always reminds me of Craig James burning the Longhorns in that shootout in Austin-but I wouldn't mind seeing Henderson run that play either. If you were a LB or SS concentrating on the running game how would you like to be surprised by a 4.3 speedster streaking toward the endzone on a pass play. I didn't think you would

The only problem I see with your scenerio is that 90% of the time at 4.3 a backfield receiver would only get about the line of scrimmage before the QB was sacked.

yeah I almost wrote that myself but we've blocked well enogh to get Martin open twice in 3 weeks.

I agree and I also would like for Martin to get the ball alot and as you say, start using what speed we have.

I'm all for getting as much speed on the field as we can. We desperately need to find some playmakers. More big plays needed! Henderson has shown the ability on kick returns and I expect him to do a better job of protecting the ball as he matures. I also expect Givens to eventually haul in one of those home run balls. I wouldn't mind seeing the M&M boys running out of the I formation, although I guess that's not in the plans.
