Billy Joe,
Believe what you wish about myself and my relationships with whomever; it matters little to me. I will continue to take the factual knowledge I obtain and base my opinions on them...people can agree or disagree but that will not factor in my opinion process.
I only comment when I see something blatantly false. So, please don't state that money hasn't been raised for the moody renovation and the practice facilities because it's just not true. And my Golden Tee game is fine. Thank you for your concern.
JT Stang,
Like the rest of the construction projects on campus, a certain amount of money must be raised for a project to begin construction. The percentages needed for this elude me at the moment, as do the amounts raised, although I would probably not divulge that number on this board anyway as to not interfere with the ongoing fund raising efforts. But obviously, if we had hit those figures last week we would all be talking about it now.

Well, it's way past time to light a fire under the money men's collective @sses on Moody, so if the need for a waiver of the percentage for starting construction ever existed, it's now.

Baylor just completed fundraising for a $7.9 million 40,000 sq ft practice facility that will include two separate courts, a 5000 sq ft weight room, coaches offices overlooking the practice courts and a VIP suite for meetings.
They break ground October 5th and will be finished before the 2006-07 school year.
If BU can build a practice facility in less than a year, so can SMU. It seems like renovating Moody will be a more expensive and time-consuming project compared to a practice facility. Is the plan to build a practice facility first?

Hopefully the plan is to fire the athletic director first, then get somebody in here who will do what it takes to make us competitive.
The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?
Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.

That is probably a good reason they are winning the recruiting race.
Lamar Hunt just spent a ton of $$ on St. Mark's, Pizza Hut Park, etc. I guess he doesn't care about SMU? Mr. Hunt, we need you!!
We need Hunt-Moody Coliseum NOW

Sounds like someone is planning to supervise offseason workouts.
Tsk, tsk.
