Pope back to MLB, Yenga outside, Bordano bench. No run game so Pope being wasted, another genius Jones move backfiring.

Yes they do

7 scoring dives over 65 yards

You know if there was one positive on the season-we actually don't turn the ball over much

...although Krstich could have just as easily had 3 or 4 picks. He can dink and dunk but have to hold your breathe every time he throws downfield.

Kudos to him today but 67 throws a game with no running game is an obvious problem.

ECU put up 70 on North Carolina last game. Holding them to 45 isn't such a bad job.

I would love to see pope play solely at LB. Line and nlemchi can handle the running game

We held them down because we had the ball much of the time in the second half.

yeah it was a very effective ball control passing game which is only thing that stopped ECU all day from 800 yards

Agreed. Even after we had an 8 minute drive for a td, our defense wets their diaper and gives up a quick score. This defense has been bad year in and year out.

Why did I get skewered for saying the same thing after a blowout last week, but everyone's fine with it this week?

I think you said the whole team sucks (which it did up to that point). Maybe people are just happier today with our moral victory

Whereas it would take us 3 (half a dozen times 4) to eke out about 10.5 yards the entire game ECU was ripping off 15, 13, 11, 12, 16 yard gains consecutively. It was abusive. Defense leaked like a sieve basically all game.
