Re: W-Soccer: SMU vs. Temple/UConnLast years regular season meeting between SMU and Temple was very one sided.
SMU out shot Temple 15 to 3. Temple keeper made 6 saves(Shauni Kerkhoff), Bodden got the win and didn't have to make a save. Should be the same starting keepers for both teams. Corner kicks were 4 for SMU and 2 for Temple. Let's hope for a similar performance tonight. Temple has an RPI of 53 SMU has an RPI OF 165
Re: W-Soccer: SMU vs. Temple/UConnSMU wins 1-0!

Re: W-Soccer: SMU vs. Temple/UConnA solid win. If they can pick up another W on the weekend, things will be looking good!
Re: W-Soccer: SMU vs. Temple/UConnCentral Florida drilled South Florida 3-0 tonight, giving the Knights a commanding lead in the conference and leaving the rest of the tournament seeds up for grabs.

Re: W-Soccer: SMU vs. Temple/UConnSo they go by points rather than W - L?

Correct. Shake It Off Moody
Re: W-Soccer: SMU vs. Temple/UConnI had never noticed that. I can't remember if we did when I played- I think not. How long have they been doing that?
Funny the use the hockey point system and not the World Cup system. If we used points I think it was World Cup system with extra points for goals. An atheist is a guy who watches a Notre Dame-SMU football game and

Re: W-Soccer: SMU vs. Temple/UConnIt's the standard soccer scoring - 3 for a win and 1 for a draw.
It usually ends up working out the same as W-L-D (counting draws as a half win) anyway unless somebody has a ton of draws. There was one season (2011) where we got a higher seed than UCF because they had a lot of draws even though we had more losses - it looks like UConn may be headed in that direction this season. Re: W-Soccer: SMU vs. Temple/UConnPoint system is used universally in soccer including the NCAA as long as I can remember. Goals scored and other differentiating factors are used in tournament play to separate teams that are tied in points.
Re: W-Soccer: SMU vs. Temple/UConnSMU falls to UConn 3-1. Kelsey Gorney scored for the Mustangs.
