Things to Look Forward to...

Feel free to add your own - but here are a few of the things i am looking forward to:

1) Looking down at the sidelines and feeling pride, and knowing the coaches feel pride to be representing my school
2) Never, ever will i ever see another jog of shame
3) Assistant coaches that actually know a bit about the position they are paid to coach
4) A running back who's first job is to advance the ball
5) A tight end
6) Receivers over 6 feet
7) An OOC schedule that does not represent the Bataan death march
Figuring out how to stay in town for the game, vs coming up with excuses to be out of town on Sat
9) A little fire and brimstone from the HC - for our players, students, alumni and fans
10) Maybe some day, when discussing the upcoming game with the fan of a rival, seeing fear in their eyes instead of pity.

Offensive and defensive schemes that fit our personnel.

Some originality in play calling and formations.

A goal line offense.

An offense that does not take a QB two to three years to figure out.

A coach that embraces the university and its students, alumni and fans.

A coach that is proud to be the SMU HC and will not beetch and complain about everything.

A coach that excepts responsibly when the team loses and praise the team when they win.
