Timeout Games

Postby Pony ^ » Wed Nov 26, 2014 11:32 am

First of all the games that are played during time-outs are awful (coast to coast layups, bank shot, etc), but what is up with the staff choosing gay students that can't dribble/shoot a basketball EVERY SINGLE TIME. Completely embarrassing and the boos that rained down on them were completely warranted. Makes our student body look like a bunch of pansies.

The coast to coast layups thing is absurdly stupid. It was also incredibly awkward last night as Arkansas was huddling during the timeout near the lane so the kids had to run right next to the opposing team right before they missed their layups.

Its embarrassing. Same BS skits they did in Old Moody and yet now we have all this technology. Are they even using the digital boards this year? All I saw were ads.

You can get a much better idea for a guess..... Lighten up.

The timeouts are bad, they need to save it all for halftime and that's it. It's like the same people are in charge who were in old Moody. It's childish and they really do find kids that are embarrassingly bad.

I will never forget when I was in school my junior year we were playing a Calipari Memphis team at home tight, and we had an awesome oop to take the lead or tie with 2 maybe 3 mins left in the game. Pretty good crowd for old Moody and it was going nuts. The video board operator goes to the freaking kiss cam, and that miserable "kiss me" song comes on which invariably goes along with it. My jaw hit the floor, just a total lack of awareness/having any clue in general. The crowd was almost quite when the game resumed, and of course we lost.
