I see no reason to play them moving forward as long as Brown is coach. We only have a few shots at marquee OOC Ws every year and to allocate one of those games to the Frogs is absurd. Does absolutely nothing if we win, bad loss if we lose.

TCU fans know the ranking is temporary before they get in to conference play and the wins get tougher. Johnson does seem to have program headed in right direction like Brown does. It is progress just like SMU came close to making the NCAA tourney last year. These are steps forward. The TCU basketball team last year was equivalent of SMU football this year, probably more competitive if you look at scores/lead changes.

Basketball will still be third of the three men's TCU revenue sports, not much changing there in the foreseeable future. Baseball team will most often compete for championships, followed by football then basketball in terms of frequency.
