I've been there many times when there were no more than a 1,000 fans left in the stands. I've been there when we took 800 to College Station and 1,800 to TCU and 1200 to Baylor playing against national prominent teams. So screw you. I know the facts. There are maybe 100 fans fans that can say they have stood by the team in ALL conditions over any length of time. I'm one of them.
even the 1500 have had their loyalty tested in this post death penalty era

It would be nice if The American can go 3-2. ECU converts a Florida fumble into a FG. 28-17 with 6:00 left in the 3rd.

So if the Sunbelt or CUSA go something like 4-1 in their bowls does that mean they are better than the SEC or Big 12?

No...don't be silly. Only the American could have made that claim

Well, at least ours are all against P5 + BYU.

From a non-P5 perspective, I think it is pretty clear that the best teams in the G5 conferences are better than bad P5 schools. But average P5 teams are better than the "good" G5 teams. The MAC is pretty bad.

ECU with another stop. Still 28-20.
At their own 43 with 3:28 left and all three timeouts.
I will crack up if this goes to OT and runs into the ESPN NFL game.

Wow - ECU fumbles at the 15 and is able to recover at the 5.
1st and goal with 1:30 left.

Oh no...
ECU picked off in the end zone.
Terrible pass - Carden was trying to force it to Hardy.
ECU still has all of their timeouts.

ECU should have played Western Kentucky in Petunia Bowl to get a trophy. Bad scheduling

I give ECU a lot of credit for their scheduling; they always seem to have non-conference games against "regional" schools like UNC, Va Tech and South Carolina...and they win every once in a while. Let's hope we can keep our games against Big XII and other P5 schools
