Emails and phone numbers. I need to yell at some people right now. Who is ultimately at fault when we can't keep our players eligible?

Heave forbid...might be the player. Even a free lunch requires you get off yourass to go pick up the meal. Well, unless you are at UNC or a myriad of other P5 state schools where someone else can do that for you. BTW...how is that UNC investigation going?

Bull. One player becomes ineligible and it could just be the players fault. Three players in the same season? That's a pattern.

Yeah, that pattern is that Coach Brown had to recruit a number of academic risky kids to get this turned around quickly. I would give him an A+ for effort and a B for execution. We have a 2015 class signed that 95% of D-1 schools would give their left nut for, we run a solid 8/9 deep this year (without KF) and the AAC is down right now (giving us some margin for error). It doesn't matter how much money daddy has, you don't go from doormat to FF contender in three years. What Coach Brown has done is amazing. Breath it in and get your [deleted] to the game Saturday. Let's not be pu$$ies about this.

I'm not saying it's the end of the season at all - in fact I say we still take the American. I'm just saying this is something that needs to get fixed - if it's coaches not making players go to class that needs to get fixed. I love our 2015 class too but we still need to get our academic house in order. A couple other things - of the three guys who were declared ineligible, only Keith would have been considered academically risky coming in. A Nova transfer and a guy going for his masters who already has a degree SHOULDNT be academic risks.

Boom....great post. For all you chicken littles, just pretend that Keith got injured. Sterling's 3 pt stroke is looking much better - we're gonna need it. By the way, there is one last appeal so we're saying we still got a chance.....

GREAT post. thank you. Keith and Markus were TREMENDOUSLY high risk coming in. Martin wasn't, but he just quit trying once he realized he wasn't getting minutes. We already established that. Not the school's fault. Incoming classes will be much less risky. I'm as big of a Keith fan as anyone. It's a shame. But we may have been deep to a fault, and Keith had a hand in a lot of our turnovers. So maybe this affords someone else (Ben?) to get into a groove. We still have the talent to make the tourny. Just pray we don't see any decommits and pray Larry Brown doesn't blame this on the school. Those are the two factors that really matter.

http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Keith-Frazier-7092/i'm assuming that we have seen the last of keith. too bad. a very likeable guy. good player. just not a good student. his future is bball. hopefully he will make a carreer out of it. he is currently projected as a 2nd rounder. i do think he would benefit from a another year or two of college ball but i don't see that happening.
