I definitely want to see an [deleted] whipping beatdown put on the Coogies. All they really have is Stiggers (and Rose isn't too bad). Game plan is the same: play solid perimeter D (don't let Stiggers get TOO hot from 3 land), pound the rock down low on offense over and over again, get their bigs in foul trouble, wear them out, and RUN THROUGH THE TAPE in the final 5 minutes for 10+ point win.

95-21 and 1028 but who's counting? Spoon had 15 rushes for 207 yards. Andre Ware had just 41 pass attempts, along with 25 completions, although they went for 517 yards. The next year at SMU David Klingler set records for attempts and completions (76 and 48) but under 480 yards.

Watch out. This could be the Coogs' first conference win.

TU couldn't get off a 3 pointer because of our D for the most part. Now some of that was good old fashion coaching followed with hard work. And one watching in person knows those kids were woking hard-on D. But one other factor was in play. At every position and even when we brought in the 'subs', we are far more athletic than TU.

TU didn't stand a chance against our far more athletic team with excellent coaching. Houston will have better athletes than TU so we will have our work cut out for us.

Now if we do a better job scoring in the paint the first half (unlike TU which kept them in that game through one half), we blow UH out.
