It's on the Videoboard and in the PA script, but text us at (214) 516-7010 in-game. Thanks!

Had multiple complaints via GuestAssist last night that the music was TOO loud, including one that said we were damaging children's ears. It's a delicate balance. If you think it's too low, let us know via GuestAssist as well. Right now, all we hear at the game is that it's too loud.

Sid's response made my jaw drop. Seriously, those complaints are stupid. Get your kids ear plugs or leave 'em home. It can never be too loud!

Seriously, have bags of SMU foamies available either at the entrance or at some fan-service location in the concourse and whenever anyone complains, text them the location. Even put an ad for it in the program for the game. Want to step it up? Have the players do a PSA for the foamies..."make sure you get your hearing protection because it is about to get loud in here!" with pics from last nights and other similar games.

I have to say SID that is possibly the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. You are attending a sporting event, not Sesame Street Live. It will be loud. Any sporting event will be loud.

Leave the kids at home or bring earplugs. You are close to pushing REAL fans away by that type of nonsense.

haha I love that. The papers will write about how its so loud in Moody all the little kids actually have to get ear plugs. What a great story line. Keep cranking the noise up

Yesterday was one of the most enjoyable days in SMU athletics in a long time
But since the [deleted] has already been registered-Back to Band uniforms-I've never brought it up before but the only uniforms that I hate are the Mr. Peppermint look. Why haven't they been sold to a Barber Shop Quartet decades ago. Is there some tradition they represent-other than they have been embarrassing since about 1980? Do they bother anyone else. I think they look a little [deleted]. NTTIATWWT

That is absurd. This isn't a chess match. Wear some earplugs. That is what college basketball is all about. Mavs games are loud and I dont' hear Cuban turning down the noise. Sorry maam if little Junior can't take it. Take them home.

Obviously, Thursday we all need to continually contact GuestAssist and tell them the music is not loud enough.

We can win this battle!

I agree on those Mr Peppermint uniforms for the band...never liked them. As for the parents complaining it's too loud for their kids...have to remember these are probably Highland Park/University Park people who are a little soft to begin with. Not the fans we need dictating game day atmosphere

are there areas in the arena that have speakers that are louder. I know in Ford it was really painful a few years ago on the top rows when the speakers were directly above you-but I think they figured that problem out. Where are the speakers-I assume in the rafters near scoreboard

I wouldn't complain about it, but the music was too loud. The whole programming was terrible, but when they did play music it would make your ears ring. It's a basketball game, not a rock concert. Good venues don't need to pipe in music to replace crowd noise.

Great game last night, though! The boys played well and it was SMU all day. Good times!!

It's too loud in the upper 200 section. The treble is especially too loud.
