can understand why opponents hate Nic so much; he is one heck of a player and made several plays last night that would anger any opponent. His display after drilling that 3 is the kind of thing that makes opponents hate you. He's an emotional guy who was especially jacked up for that game last night. I'm just glad he's on our team and is not the guy on the other team killing us.

The whole can't recruit on the conference thing is my favorite. I guess I could see that if they had just lost to an ACC team but i do not follow their logic for how it applies to losing to a fellow AAC team.

That was an incredible game. It was crazy in the 2H with the Seven Nation Army chant and it somehow got even louder after Nic's 3. I was in the highest rows in 215 and still could feel the shaking and energy.

They just won a national championship, but they cannot recruit? It is just a down year for UConn. They don't have the huge influence of the Big East anymore to ensure that they can squeak in as a bubble team into the tournament, but looking at their record they really don't have much a reason to go. That is probably what they are really upset about, but they are the ones that lost to Houston. The AAC is not going to be the cake walk they hoped it would be and SMU just reminded them in front of everyone.
