Went to the football game with my Dad in tow and then we hit Milo's for a couple of pitchers then we hit the Bball game.

Team actually looked pretty good. Dez was very impressive, he handled the ball very well and dished some nice passes and shot well, including a long 3 pointer while falling out of bounds with the shot clock running out. Pearson and Roberts also looked good. The team looked very athletic, the quickest I have seen them in quite a while.

Ike played very well too, looked like he matured and can hopefully give us some presence inside. OBU looked like a pretty decent team, they brought quite a few fans, even quite a few students. Heh, they even had their shirts off and had letters painted on them, honestly, they had more fans than we did. SMU controlled the whole game and was up by 30 points till all the starters went out. None of the walkon's/freshmen showed much, they were tenative and seemed a bit overmatched.

Will be nice when Dez and Bhop can play together. I really like the team speed that we will bring with Pearson and Roberts. I feel much better about our chances against the weaker competition until Bhop comes back.

To sum up, Dez looks like the real deal, and Pearson and Ike look like they have made big improvements, when Bhop comes back, it looks like we can be competitive and hopefully top the 500 mark or better.
