I've never seen the plate tug of war before, so I decided to make the wrestling team I coach try it out last week, and man, it's rough (I had to jump in myself :D ). It's pretty awkward because you both have to hold the weights up and drag the other dude. You use all your muscles really. Great exercise and fun if you're a masochist like me.

Awesome video though. It fired me up. It almost makes me miss 6 am football workouts.

good thing it isn't a basketball video. UH would have about 10 views.

No passion what so ever, terrible song loop and really just a video of the players running the same drill. We are winning the social media battle.

As much as it pains me to say, to me, the Houston video just shows how much faster and more athletic they are. Hope we are competitive against them this year. I thought we were passing them up 2 years ago, but it seems they've gotten better and we've gotten worse. Now, with Herman there and Morris here, I hope we can be at least competitive with them in the short term and kick their [deleted] in the longer term.

I am sorry but I challenge anyone to tell me the level of athleticism of any team from videos like these. They are basically ads for the schools. Now based on our poor recruiting effort for the past few years I would say Houston probably is more athletic and deep than we, but these videos from both schools are just pump you up clips.

Kids just look more athletic to me - faster, more muscular, etc. Not telling anyone anything. Just stating my opinion by just looking at the kids.

That really was not directed to you. Your post did make me think about it. I am more frustrated with the past few years of poor recruiting and S&C work and knowing they are more athletic without seeing a video.

While, I love the new media effort. I feel that we really aren't reaching people and even alumni. I was at an event this past weekend and I asked several of the smu alumni if they had seen the new videos and they didn't even know about it. This included several guys that were on the team with Bennet.

I agree and I am pumped! Seriously, I am a believer in Chad Morris. I am totally convinced this man is going to make us relevant again.
