Remember how wrong JJT had it?

Remember this humorous article that JJT wrote on SMU's coaching search and the hire of Larry brown? Oh how wrong he was. I know he hates SMU but he has to he eating his words due to our rapid progress.

Maybe the best line in the article is this one:

It's hard to figure out how Orsini, who made an excellent football hire in June Jones, screwed up this hire so badly.

I'm trying to recall. Wasn't JJT a JJ-o-phile right to the end and even after?

JJT was the first one to tweet out that JJ could lose his job as badly as he lost to UNT in his 6th year as head coach. JJT has also admitted that he was wrong about LB and has had LB speak to the class he teaches at SMU. And JJT was not the only one that was wrong about Lb. I believe Hoopmanx did not think it was a good idea either. JJT does not hate SMU. There were many skeptics. JJT and Hoopmanx are LB fans.

He's a good writer. Worked his way up at the DMN from high school to Cowboys. That's not easy. As Cowherd always says, just state an opinion that's on one side. Opinions in the middle are not interesting.
