Sterling Moore gone?

Postby vielsiehorsepower » Tue Mar 10, 2015 5:08 pm

They were talking about him on the fan as if it is a done deal but I haven't ready anything. Anyone else know something?

Lame. Moore did a fine job. Steady. If the Cowboys let him go, wouldn't be surprised if he tries to go home and play in Oakland.

Definitely wasn't a game changer but if they're trying to save money they are paying a much worse player (Claiborne) way more.

Someone needs to pay this guy. He's gotten the shaft every year and all he has done is be extremely reliable.

There are a lot of guys like this in the nfl that bounce around until the veteran minimum makes them cost prohibitive compared to a new kid that a team might hit on. Sterling has gotten the years of service to qualify for the pension which should be every Non drafted free agent's goal.

Brandon Carr should be thankful. Teams avoided Moore and threw at Carr. Now Carr will get less attention.

He can still sign with the Cowboys. Just because they did not tender him doesn't mean there's no chance he comes back. Could be he's still wanted, just not at $1.5 mil.

Great tweet by Sterling:

“I want some Ruth’s Chris but I’m jobless, so I’ll have to settle for Cheesecake Factory,” Moore tweeted Monday night.

Hopefully he's been banking a lot of what he's made in the NFL.

He's on a plane to Tampa Bay. Darn.

And I was going to get a Moore #26 Cowboys jersey.

Sad.
